Borderlines is an exciting new single from Apollo Junction, released on 11 September 2020.
Borderlines has been released from the band’s second studio album, which the date for release is soon to be announced.
Following the success of Apollo Junction’s first album, Mystery, and their previously released single, Sometimes, Borderlines is another glimpse of what’s to come in the band’s new album. Any indie rock fan out there should be excited!
Apollo Junction have seen a rise in their success, emulating in national radio coverage for their recent single and being added to the official Spotify ‘Rock’ playlist which currently sees over 500,000 listeners each month.
Opening the track is a heavy guitar line, coupled with a class and catchy rock drum beat. Borderlines is certainly a turn in the right direction for the band. Once the vocals come in we are treated with the signature Apollo Junction sound and lyricism.
The band has noted that Borderlines has been influenced by a fusion of New Romantic and 90s Britpop. This eclectic mix of sounds is certainly evident throughout the entire track, while also displaying Apollo Junction’s unique musical creativity that has been thrown into the mix also.
